Ron Reigelsperger - Executive Director
Ron graduated from Carroll High School and was drafted into the Army in January of 1968. After a tour in Germany, Ron entered Wright State University on the GI Bill, and graduated in 1973 with a degree in Social Work. He started his Juvenile Court career at Nicholas Residential Treatment Center in August 1973. After a year, he became a probation officer. In 1976, Mike Pratt, founder of Building Bridges, offered Ron an opportunity to work more with creative opportunities. Building Bridges has been his home since.
Ron became a supervisor and won Juvenile Court Employee of the Year in 1989. Through his work with youth, i.e. groups, triathlons, and general case work, Ron won the Brother Fitz Community Award in 2001.
After retirement from the Court in February 2010, Ron came back in May 2010. Ron later was accepted to the Executive Director position at Building Bridges, to continue the work at the program he is so fond of.
Anthony Parker - Manager
Anthony Parker lifelong resident of Montgomery County started his career of serving youth in 2000 as a youth leader in Montgomery County Juvenile Courts. He joined the Building Bridges team in 2006 as a House Manager. Anthony focuses his attention on safety, security and creating an environment where the youth can have a home-like experience.
Along with serving at-risk youth he founded an athletic program called the Dayton Pilots which stands for People Investing in Leaders of Tomorrow. The Dayton Pilots is the City of Dayton's largest basketball program formed to keep inner city youth off the streets. Also he serves as a Jr. High football and basketball coach for Trotwood Madison Rams.
