Mentor

Our youth have many people trying to keep them on heading toward the right path.  Although these young people need authority figures, sometimes they just need a friend who is a positive influence, someone to talk to, laugh and hang out with.

There are ample opportunities to interact with our youth on special days as well, such as, birthdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may designate a Building Bridges youth to interact with and/or provide gifts for on special occasions.

Volunteering as a mentor at Building Bridges allows you to determine how much time you're comfortable committing, the possibilities are endless.  Mentors have traditionally taken youth out to eat, see movies, roller blade, or just talk.
